Pan-Atlantic University on Lockdown After Suspected Intruders Spotted
Pan-Atlantic University in Lagos directed students to remain in their hostels late Tuesday after unidentified, bandit-like men were seen on campus. The Student Council issued an emergency advisory in collaboration with the administration and security authorities. A coordinated sweep is underway, with the Nigeria Police Force, DSS, Nigerian Army and Navy deployed across the university grounds. Students were warned they may hear controlled gunfire during the operation but assured it is part of planned security activity. All students have been asked to stay indoors until an official all-clear is issued. The council urged everyone to report any suspicious movements to Campus Security as authorities monitor the situation and promise further updates.
