The family of Oyedokun Michael Olugbade, a teacher abducted and killed by suspected terrorists, has appealed directly to President Bola Tinubu for help. Their lawyer, Deji Adeyanju, petitioned on May 25, 2026, calling for immediate presidential intervention and a visit to recover Olugbade’s remains. Olugbade was kidnapped on May 15, 2026, from Community High School, Ahoro-Esinle in Oriire Local Government Area. The petition also urges action to free those still held captive.
