LSSTF Donates Patrol Vehicle, Protective Gear to Agege Security Trust Fund
The Lagos State Security Trust Fund has donated an operational vehicle to the newly launched Agege Security Trust Fund. It also pledged 10 ballistic helmets, 10 bulletproof vests, raincoats and operational boots to support community security efforts in the area. At the launch in Agege, LSSTF Executive Secretary Ayodele Ogunsan urged the council to seek more private-sector backing. He said effective security requires cooperation among government, residents, security agencies and businesses. Police and community leaders also called on residents to share useful intelligence and support community policing. The Agege council said the trust fund will coordinate local efforts to improve safety across the community.
