Why Too Much White Space Can Make Online Writing Harder to Read
Ali went to school to see his teacher, Miss Shukurat. She had become like a mother to him after he lost his own. Does that short passage feel comfortable to read? I have noticed that some online posts put every sentence on a separate line. It may look neat at first, but it can make reading feel fragmented. The reader is forced to pause before a complete idea has had time to develop. White space is important, but balance matters. Large blocks of text can feel overwhelming, while excessive line breaks can make the reader’s attention jump from sentence to sentence. I prefer grouping related sentences into a full paragraph, then using a blank line to give the reader time to absorb the point. Review some of your old posts and pay attention to the reading rhythm. Good formatting should help ideas flow, not make the reader feel rushed or constantly interrupted.
