Abductors Demand ₦30 Million for Three Travellers Kidnapped in Taraba
Abductors have demanded ₦30 million for the release of three travellers kidnapped along the Takum-Wukari Road in Taraba State. The victims were reportedly returning from Takum after buying paddy rice when armed men stopped their two-vehicle convoy near Jakundo village in Wukari LGA at about 7pm on Sunday, October 11. The gunmen allegedly took the victims into the bush after ordering the occupants to leave their vehicles. The abductors reportedly contacted the families and demanded ₦10 million for each victim. Their whereabouts remain unknown. The incident follows the reported abduction of four Kano traders on the Rafin Kada-Donga Road last month.
