Young Plateau Footballer Collapses and Dies During Morning Training

A young man collapsed during a football practice at Massalacin Edi field in the Alikazaure community of Jos North LGA, Plateau state. The incident occurred on Monday, June 8, during a routine morning session. The player, identified as Salisu Muhammed of Anguwan Rogo community, slumped on the pitch. Teammates and the coach rushed him to a nearby hospital, where doctors confirmed him dead. He is survived by his parents, wife and four children. His burial took place at Babale Cemetery in Jos following local rites.
