PDP Strikes Back at APC, Labels Morka’s Claims ‘Delusional Propaganda’
On Monday, PDP National Publicity Secretary Ini Ememobong rejected APC spokesman Felix Morka’s assertion that the PDP was “no longer a political party.” Ememobong called the remark unfortunate and a sign of delusional propaganda. He argued that, despite defections allegedly orchestrated by the APC, Nigerians continue to reject the ruling party over the economic hardships under President Tinubu. He pointed to weak membership drives and event disruptions as evidence of the APC’s waning appeal. Ememobong likened Morka to Nazi propagandist Joseph Goebbels and warned that history would condemn those who defend what he described as a “maladministration.” The PDP has been reduced to two governors in Oyo and Bauchi after a string of defections, including Zamfara’s Governor Dauda Lawal.
