Hairstylist’s Decomposing Body Found in Osogbo Apartment, Police Investigate

The body of a hairstylist, identified as Kemisola, was found decomposing in her room at a house in the Jaleyemi area of Osogbo. A co-tenant, who asked to remain anonymous for safety reasons, discovered the open door and went inside after greetings went unanswered. He found her lifeless on the bed. Neighbours say a foul smell first raised alarm, thought to be a dead rat, until police arrived. A knife, a mobile phone and an empty bottle were recovered beside the remains. Osun State Police confirmed the incident. The scene was secured and the body taken for autopsy. No marks of violence are visible, but detectives will probe further.
