Peter Obi Says He Cut Anambra Office Refurbishment Cost From ₦298m to ₦48m

Peter Obi says he reduced the cost of refurbishing the Anambra State governor’s office from a budgeted ₦298 million to ₦48 million during his time in office. Speaking at an engagement with Nigerians in Washington, D.C., he also said a ₦486 million budget for renovating the governor’s residence was completed for ₦81 million. Obi added that he travelled without large entourages as governor, saying he often went alone because he was the person invited.
