FBI Offers $5,000 Reward for Nigerian Woman Who Missed US Prison Surrender
The FBI is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of Emuobosan Emmanuella Hall, a Nigerian citizen and US permanent resident who allegedly failed to report to prison to begin an eight-year sentence for romance fraud and money laundering. US authorities said Hall, 46, was due to report to a correctional facility by March 25, 2026. Her electronic monitoring device last transmitted from Atlanta's international airport a day earlier, although airline records reportedly showed she did not board her planned flight to Minnesota. Court records state that Hall was held responsible for $851,207 in losses from a scheme that allegedly used false online identities to deceive mostly older women into sending money. She faces up to 10 additional years in prison if convicted of the charge of failing to report for her sentence. The FBI said members of the public can submit information through its official tip channels.
