NAF Launches Precision Airstrikes on Terrorist Camps in Adamawa and Borno
On May 19, the Nigerian Air Force intensified operations against insurgent camps in the Southern Tumbuns of Adamawa and the Mandara Mountains of Borno. Guided by intelligence from ISR missions, the strikes destroyed logistics hubs, assembly points and operational bases hidden in rugged terrain. Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame confirmed that several terrorists were neutralized and planned attacks were disrupted. Air Marshal Sunday Kelvin Aneke reiterated the NAF’s commitment to joint operations with sister services and allied partners. He said intelligence-driven air campaigns will continue until terrorist networks in the North East are dismantled and lasting peace is restored.
