Texas Woman Charged After Ex-Boyfriend’s New Partner Is Killed in SUV Incident

A Texas woman has been charged with murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after she allegedly drove into her former boyfriend and his new girlfriend in a San Antonio parking lot. Police said the woman died after being taken to hospital, while the man survived with ankle and back injuries. Investigators said he had dated the suspect for about six years and alleged that she repeatedly contacted him after learning about his new relationship. Witnesses told police that the SUV swerved towards the pair and struck them. Investigators said video recorded by a witness supported the accounts. The suspect is being held in Bexar County Jail on a combined bond of $400,000.
