Osun Police Arrest Man Over Alleged Exhumation and Mutilation of 18-Year-Old Neighbour’s Body
The Osun State Police Command has arrested Saheed Babalola over the alleged exhumation and mutilation of an 18-year-old neighbour’s body in Feesu, near Iwo. The teenager reportedly died on October 11 and was buried that same day within the compound where she lived. Police said Babalola was among those present at the burial. Residents allegedly heard unusual sounds from the burial site early the following morning and found Babalola there. Two other suspects reportedly fled. Police said the victim’s severed head and wrist were later recovered, while the suspect has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department for further investigation.
