Rapper Aisha Zaman Remanded After Nottingham Officer Was Shot

Rapper Aisha Zaman, 27, also known as A1 or Bandit, has been remanded in custody on firearms charges after a police officer was shot in the foot in Nottingham city centre. Prosecutors alleged that an adapted shotgun discharged near a bus stop on Angel Row at about 4:50 a.m. on October 18. Zaman is accused of possessing the weapon and intending to use it in an indictable offence. PC Lee Lane was injured during the incident and remains in a stable condition after undergoing several operations. Zaman is due to return to Nottingham Crown Court for a plea hearing on November 20. The allegations have not yet been determined by a court.
