At least 10 people were killed and 64 others injured after pyrotechnic materials exploded during a patron saint festival in Temascalcingo, Mexico State. The blast happened on Saturday night near the Nuestra Señora de la Luz church as hundreds of residents gathered for a fireworks display. Part of a wall reportedly collapsed, while videos from the scene showed people fleeing as fireworks exploded and smoke filled the area. Authorities have opened an investigation to determine the cause of the explosion. Two priests were reportedly among those injured.
