El-Rufai Ally Says He Wants Supporters to Vote ADC in 2027

Former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai has directed his supporters to vote for the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in the 2027 elections, according to his ally, Hajiya Hafsat Baba, the party’s National Vice Chairman for the North-West. She shared the message at a coalition meeting in Kaduna, where supporters discussed uniting and coordinating their activities across the state. Baba said the coalition plans to build a database of El-Rufai’s supporters and hold regular meetings. She also urged security agencies to address insecurity in parts of Kaduna and alleged that more than 30 of the former governor’s supporters had recently been arrested. Another ally, Ibrahim Hussaini, said El-Rufai still has many supporters in Kaduna and across the North. He urged them to remain united ahead of the elections.
