Azikel Refinery Receives 25,000-BPD Crude Distillation Unit in Bayelsa

Azikel Refinery has received its 25,000-barrels-per-day crude distillation unit in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State. The delivery is a major construction milestone for the $1 billion refinery project. When completed, the refinery is expected to support local petroleum-product supply, create jobs and attract investment to Bayelsa and the wider Niger Delta. Project officials say the region’s improving security and investment climate could encourage further industrial development.
