Angry Youths Storm Adagwa School, Attack Teachers Over Student Discipline
Teachers and staff at Community Secondary School, Adagwa in Etche LGA, Rivers State were attacked by a group of youths. The incident began after a teacher disciplined two SS3 students for playing loud music during class. According to reports, the teacher was assaulted first. Shortly after, more youths forced their way into the school. They beat staff members, who fled into nearby bushes for safety, and blocked roads leading out of the campus. Several teachers sustained injuries, and concerns remain over the safety and whereabouts of others. Relatives shared videos and photos of a student hurt during the chaos. One family member appealed for government intervention to restore order and protect staff and students.
