Jigawa Man Dies After Brother Allegedly Sets His Room Ablaze

Police in Jigawa have arrested 27-year-old Abbas Ibrahim after he allegedly poured petrol inside his elder brother Basiru Shuaibu’s room and set it on fire in Gwaram LGA. Shuaibu and his wife suffered severe burns. They were taken for treatment, but Shuaibu later died from his injuries. His wife was injured in the incident. The suspect reportedly claimed to be of unsound mind. Police said the case has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department in Dutse for further investigation.
