Senate Schedules National Security Summit for October 12–13

The Senate has announced a National Security Summit aimed at strengthening Nigeria’s security architecture. Senate President Godswill Akpabio said the summit will hold at the International Conference Centre, Abuja, from October 12 to 13. It is themed “Strengthening Nigeria’s National Security Architecture: Innovation, Collaboration and Resilience in a Changing World.” Lawmakers, security agencies and other stakeholders are expected to discuss stronger inter-agency collaboration, emerging threats and measures to help Nigerians live and farm safely without fear.
