Army Rescues Kidnapped Plateau Woman, Recovers N8m Ransom

Nigerian Army troops from Operation ENDURING PEACE rescued a woman abducted on 19 April in Bauna, Shendam LGA of Plateau State. After interrogating a suspect linked to the gang, forces traced her to Padam Forest in Quanpan LGA on 25 April. They recovered the N8 million ransom already paid by her family and returned the funds. The victim underwent a medical check at Shendam General Hospital before being reunited with her family. Troops continue operations to dismantle the kidnappers’ network.
