Bella Shmurda Says He Stole and Sold a Bicycle to Fund Early Studio Sessions

Nigerian singer Bella Shmurda has recalled stealing a bicycle during the early days of his music career while living in Okoko. He said he sold the bicycle in Alaba for ₦7,000 to pay for studio time. The singer described the incident as painful and said he later bought a new bicycle for its owner to make amends. Bella Shmurda rose to wider recognition in 2019 after gaining Olamide’s attention and collaborating with him.
