Umunoha Abductions: Security Agencies Urged to Rescue Remaining Victims

I condemn the abduction of commuters, including NYSC members, along the Umunoha axis of the Onitsha-Owerri Expressway. No resident should fear travelling on a major road in Imo State. I am told that a joint security team has rescued about 10 victims. The police, military, DSS and local vigilantes should intensify operations to bring everyone still held captive home safely. I urge residents to remain security conscious, report suspicious movements and support lawful community vigilance. Protecting lives and property must remain the government's foremost duty.
