Government Support Must Serve All Nigerians, Not Only Political Loyalists

I watched a programme in Lagos and came away concerned that too many young Nigerians are being drawn into political loyalty instead of productive opportunities. Government resources should benefit every citizen, not only supporters of the ruling party. Public funding and political campaign financing should be properly scrutinised. It is wrong to use public resources to reward political loyalists while many Nigerians struggle with food, transport and basic living costs. If fuel subsidies are removed, government should provide practical relief through cheaper food production, transportation and other essential services. Leaders must show empathy and remember that government exists to serve the people, not politicians and their supporters.
