Defence Minister Vows Swift Rescue of Southern Kaduna Kidnap Victims
At the Southern Kaduna Festival in Kafanchan, Defence Minister Christopher Musa assured Nigerians that security agencies are working around the clock to free those still held in captivity in Southern Kaduna and beyond. He said the Armed Forces and other agencies remain committed to protecting lives and property. “Wherever they are, our brothers and sisters should know we will do whatever it takes to ensure they regain their freedom,” he declared. Musa urged stronger collaboration between citizens, communities and security forces. He stressed that unity, dialogue and respect are vital to overcoming insecurity and building a peaceful environment for growth. The minister also called on young people to focus on education and productive ventures, while praising community and religious leaders for their roles in promoting peace and social cohesion.
