Australian Father and Two Children Found Dead in Bali, Police Investigate
Police in Bali are investigating the deaths of Australian expatriate Damien John Shaw, 56, and his two children, aged six and four, at their bungalow in Kuta on September 13. Authorities said the deaths are being treated as an apparent murder-suicide. Shaw's wife, who was in Jakarta at the time, reportedly contacted a neighbour after hearing her daughter in distress during a phone call. Police said Shaw had reportedly attempted suicide about a month earlier. Investigators have spoken with his wife as they continue to establish the circumstances surrounding the tragedy.
