Pa Fasoranti Told Family He Would Die at 100, Son Says
Dr Taiwo Fasoranti, eldest son of late Afenifere leader Pa Reuben Fasoranti, says his father often told the family he had a covenant with God to leave the world at the age of 100. He said the family is celebrating a life of service rather than mourning. Pa Fasoranti died at his home in Akure after celebrating his 100th birthday earlier in the year. Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, who visited the family, described the late nationalist as humble, wise and influential. He urged Nigerians to uphold the values of service, resilience and kindness associated with Fasoranti.
