Lizzy Anjorin Demands Retraction, Apology and ₦50 Million Over Alleged Defamation

Actress Lizzy Anjorin Lawal has issued cease-and-desist notices to Iyabo Ojo, Priscilla Ojo, and more than 100 bloggers and social-media personalities over alleged defamation and cyberbullying. Through her lawyers, she demanded the removal of material she describes as false and malicious, alongside public retractions and apologies. The notices give the recipients seven days to comply. Anjorin is also seeking ₦50 million in damages from each person or platform that fails to comply. Her legal team alleges that unverified criminal claims about her, her family and her businesses were made during online broadcasts without police reports or court judgments to support them.
