OK Movement Denounces Self-Proclaimed Merger Leader Ogunche Sani

OK Movement Denounces Self-Proclaimed Merger Leader Ogunche Sani

In a statement on Monday, the OK Movement said it has no ties to the self-styled National Executive Committee Director of the Obidients Kwankwasiyya Merger, Ogunche Sani. The support group for the NDC’s Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso dismissed a flyer circulating on social media as unauthorised and urged the public to ignore it. Led by National Director General John Ozyl Ughulu, the OK Movement emphasised that all official communications come only through its recognised leadership and authorised channels. Members have been warned against sharing any personal data or Movement materials with individuals claiming to represent the group without proper authorisation.

What could be the reasons behind that self-proclaimed merger leader stepping forward without any real backing?

I'm curious—has anyone confirmed actual endorsements or support for his leadership claim?

It's interesting that a flyer circulated so widely before any official confirmation from the movement itself.

Dismissing his role outright seems premature; maybe it's a political stunt worth investigating further.

To avoid further confusion, the OK Movement should publish a clear list of approved representatives for public reference.
