Mother Charged After Husband Allegedly Abused Their 3-Month-Old Baby in Kentucky

A Kentucky mother has been charged after police said she failed to seek medical help or report the alleged abuse of her three-month-old daughter by the child’s father. Investigators said video from a nanny camera allegedly showed Shaun Webb covering the baby’s face and holding her by the back of the head while she struggled. He was also allegedly heard telling the child to stop crying and saying she would “learn.” Police said Webb told investigators he was trying to train the child and set boundaries. He faces 10 counts of criminal abuse and is being held on a $500,000 bond. Carleena Webb faces one count of criminal abuse after allegedly leaving the children in his care despite confronting him about the incidents.
