Bode George Revives Questions Over Tinubu’s Educational Certificates

Former Ondo State military governor and PDP chieftain Bode George has renewed allegations about President Bola Tinubu’s educational records during an interview on Arise TV. George said he would wager any amount that Tinubu cannot produce certificates from primary school, secondary school or university. He referred to information reportedly listed on Tinubu’s 1999 INEC forms, including Government College Ibadan and Children’s Home School in Ibadan. According to George, checks at the schools did not verify records matching the stated years of attendance. He said Tinubu attributed the form entries to Tokunbo Afikuyomi, who allegedly completed the paperwork. The claims have revived a long-running political dispute over Tinubu’s credentials. Tinubu has previously said some documents were lost during his years in exile, while supporters describe the allegations as recycled political attacks.
