Police Rescue Minister’s Sister and Twin Sons in Ibadan Kidnap Drama
In a daring operation, officers of the Nigeria Police Force rescued Mrs Olaide Busayo Adegoke John-Paul and her 12-year-old twins, Peter and Paul. They had been abducted on June 3 along Challenge Road in Ibadan while on their way to school. Using surveillance, intelligence gathering, and tactical maneuvers, the team located and freed them on June 6 at 7:30 pm. The victims emerged unharmed after 84 hours in captivity. During the rescue, two suspected kidnappers were fatally wounded and two rifles were recovered. A video of the moment of rescue has since circulated widely online.
