Vikings Cultist ‘Njoku’ Arrested in Anambra, Confesses to Five Murders
Anambra State Police Command has scored a major breakthrough in its crackdown on violent crime with the arrest of a suspected cultist and kidnapper who admitted to multiple killings. Police PRO SP Tochukwu Ikenga said the suspect, Favour Izunna, known as “Njoku”, was apprehended by the Special Anti-Cultism Unit in Enugwu-Ukwu on April 30. Officers from the Rapid Response Squad recovered a pump-action gun, a locally made Beretta pistol, five live cartridges, and seven rounds of ammunition from a hideout in Obosi. During interrogation, the suspect confessed to five murders and detailed a network of sponsors behind his operations. The Commissioner of Police has ordered intensified efforts to track down other gang members and sponsors still at large.
