Joe Igbokwe Expects Justice Over Alleged Nnewi Home Attack as Court Rules in Kanu Case
Joe Igbokwe says he expects justice over the alleged burning of his Nnewi home and the reported theft of 36 plots of land. His comments came ahead of the Federal High Court’s ruling on applications filed by the Federal Government in the terrorism-related case against IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu. Kanu, who has been in custody since 2021, faces charges including alleged incitement, operating an unlawful group and actions said to threaten national security. Igbokwe alleges that Kanu and IPOB were responsible for violence in the South-East and the attack on his property.
