US Pauses New Strikes on Iran, Shifts Focus to Sanctions and Oil Blockade

US Pauses New Strikes on Iran, Shifts Focus to Sanctions and Oil Blockade

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has reportedly told allied foreign ministers that Washington does not expect to launch new strikes against Iran for now. Meanwhile, Pakistan is reportedly continuing mediation efforts, although the White House says there are no active or scheduled negotiations with Tehran.
