Ogun PDP Denies Claim That Adebutu Was Left Off INEC Candidate List

In a statement issued on October 29, 2026, the party said there was no official INEC publication, website update or briefing confirming Adebutu’s alleged exclusion. It described the claim as false and intended to cause confusion among its members. The PDP maintained that Adebutu remains its authentic governorship candidate and said it is confident his name will appear on the ballot in line with electoral laws and INEC guidelines. It urged supporters and the public to disregard the report.
