Abuja Property Investor Alleges Fraud in Dispute Affecting 25 Families
An Abuja property investor, Patrick Anyaene, has accused Pastor Isaac Adams, CEO of Light Gold Real Estate Limited, of breaching a joint-venture agreement and selling or allocating disputed properties without authority. Anyaene alleged that properties connected to the Durumi District project were sold or allocated more than once. He also claimed that his Certificate of Occupancy was used in transactions involving prospective buyers and tenants. He said more than 25 families lost money or were left homeless after a court-backed enforcement action at the estate. Anyaene urged prospective buyers to verify ownership documents and property status before making payments. The developer could not be reached for comment at the time of the report, and the allegations have not been independently verified.
