Atiku Says Trump Supports His Plan for a Domestic Fuel Production Subsidy
Atiku Abubakar says United States President Donald Trump supports his proposal to introduce a “Production Subsidy” if he wins the 2027 presidential election. He said the policy would support local refining and energy production, increase fuel supply and help reduce pump prices for Nigerians. Atiku also criticised the Tinubu administration, arguing that it rejects relief measures for citizens while granting incentives and concessions to multinational oil companies and businesses.
