Ogun Man Detained After Alleged Assault on Woman and Daughter in Ifo

The Ogun State Community, Social Orientation and Safety Corps has detained a 50-year-old man over the alleged assault of a woman and her daughter in Shonde, Iyana-Ifote, Lisa, in Ifo Local Government Area. The woman said a confrontation began after an altercation involving her children and the suspect's sons. She alleged that the man entered her compound, while his wife struck her with a wooden stick. Her daughter was also found with a cut on her forehead. The suspect reportedly admitted entering the compound and said the encounter escalated after he went there to address a dispute involving the children. He was transferred to the Ifo Area Command for further investigation and possible prosecution, while the woman and her daughter were taken for medical treatment.
