Fubara Asks Supporters to Recognise Wike as Rivers’ Common Political Leader
Rivers State Governor Sim Fubara has asked his supporters to stop referring to him as their political leader and recognise FCT Minister Nyesom Wike as the common leader of political groups in the state. Fubara made the remarks on Tuesday, October 27, during the unveiling of the Rainbow Coalition at Yakubu Gowon Stadium in Port Harcourt. He said the coalition’s members were now in “one house” and should follow a unified leadership arrangement. He added that while he remains the governor, supporters should stop creating divisions by repeatedly describing him as their leader.
