Oshiomhole: Akpabio Is ‘Paranoid’ and Wants to Lock Me Out of the Senate

Oshiomhole: Akpabio Is ‘Paranoid’ and Wants to Lock Me Out of the Senate

Senator Adams Oshiomhole has accused Senate President Godswill Akpabio of seeing him as a threat and trying to push him out of the Senate. He made the claim during a recent podcast, saying many senators know of Akpabio’s bias against him despite his long service to the APC and President Tinubu’s campaign. Oshiomhole alleges that Akpabio would prefer to exclude him if he could. He described the Senate President as “paranoid” about his activities and suggested that some colleagues are unhappy with Akpabio’s leadership style, predicting changes in the next Senate. He also shared an encounter where Akpabio questioned his collaboration with other senators, including Abdulaziz Yari. Oshiomhole stressed that the Senate President leads only with the confidence of his peers and warned against speculation on the reasons behind the bias.

Could there be more to Akpabio's alleged bias against Oshiomhole than personal rivalry?

It's interesting that Oshiomhole cites long APC service yet claims senators back Akpabio's bias.

I'm not convinced Oshiomhole's narrative isn't self-serving; politics often spins these issues for advantage.
