Ogun Arrests Four More Suspects in Gateway Polytechnic Students’ Abduction Case
Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun has commissioned the 3.3-kilometre Adesan Road in Mowe, Obafemi-Owode LGA. At the event, he announced the arrest of four more suspects linked to the abduction of seven Gateway ICT Polytechnic students in Saapade. The governor said two suspects had earlier been arrested during the operation that led to the students’ rescue. He said security agencies would continue to track the remaining members of the gang and insisted that Ogun would not be a safe haven for criminals. Abiodun credited the police, DSS, military, NSCDC, Amotekun, local hunters and vigilantes for the rescue operation. He also said the new road would improve movement, trade and access for communities in Mowe.
