Zamfara Governor Urges Wike to Declare His Political Allegiance

Zamfara State Governor Dauda Lawal has urged FCT Minister Nyesom Wike to clearly state where his political loyalty lies amid his reported involvement with the Rainbow Coalition. Lawal said Wike could not support the APC while also maintaining ties with other political parties. He said political allegiance should be clearly defined. Wike, a PDP member, has been linked to the cross-party Rainbow Coalition, which is mobilising support for President Bola Tinubu’s 2027 re-election bid. Lawal said he would raise the matter with the President.
