Troops Kill Suspected Terrorist in Kaduna, Hunt Fleeing Accomplices

Troops of Sector 7, Sub-Sector 71 Sanga, have killed a suspected terrorist during an operation in Ungwan Nungu, Sanga Local Government Area of Kaduna State. The operation followed intelligence reports of suspected terrorists operating from a hideout in the community. Troops reportedly engaged the group in a gun battle at about 8:00 p.m. on Friday, September 18. One suspect, identified as Bashir Mohammed, was killed. Other members of the group reportedly fled with possible gunshot wounds. Security forces are tracking the fleeing suspects as operations continue to stop further attacks on communities in the Sanga area.
