Police Arrest Suspect After Woman Is Found Dead in Adamawa Hotel Room

Police in Adamawa State have arrested a suspect after a woman was found dead in a hotel room in Girei Local Government Area. The incident reportedly occurred on Friday afternoon at Novex Hotel. The suspect was said to have checked into the room with the woman. Hotel staff and other persons reportedly heard sounds of a struggle before forcing their way into the room. The woman was found in a pool of blood with a deep neck wound. Her body has been taken to a hospital, while police say a full investigation is underway. Residents have been urged to remain calm and avoid taking the law into their own hands.
