Delta SSA Lists 10 Takeaways From Tinubu’s Independence Day Address
Delta State Senior Special Assistant on Youth Mobilisation, Lucky Blessing Abuah, has outlined 10 points from President Bola Tinubu’s Independence Day broadcast. He described the address as a statement of the Federal Government’s economic priorities and its plans for long-term growth. Abuah highlighted the President’s claims of economic growth above four per cent, easing inflationary pressure, stronger foreign reserves, lower oil theft and more than $6 billion in non-oil export earnings in 2025. He also noted plans to expand mechanised farming, irrigation, transport and storage to improve food supply and reduce living costs. Other priorities listed include using gas to support industry and digital infrastructure, expanding social protection, strengthening access to education and consumer credit through NELFUND and CREDICORP, and creating jobs to reduce poverty. Abuah urged Nigerians, especially young people, to remain patient and support policies aimed at national development.
