Danielle Adewusi Crowned Miss Universe Nigeria 2026
Lagos representative Danielle Adewusi has been crowned Miss Universe Nigeria 2026 after emerging winner among 20 contestants at the grand finale in Lagos. She will represent Nigeria at the 75th Miss Universe Festival in San Juan, Puerto Rico, on November 24. Anita Osikhena of Edo finished as first runner-up, while Cross River’s Myya Jones was second runner-up. Oluwafunmibi Ajaja of Ekiti and Melissa Toghanro of Delta completed the Top Five. Adewusi will present her women’s health advocacy project, “Scrub the Stigma,” at the international competition. Osikhena also won the Pitch Your Dream Competition and Best Advocacy Project awards, while Toghanro was selected to represent Nigeria at Miss Supranational.
