The wife and 11-year-old son of a senior ISWAP finance operative have surrendered to troops of Operation HADIN KAI in Borno State. The woman, identified as 27-year-old Aisha Musa, reportedly arrived through Kusuma Village on July 29, days after her husband surrendered to troops on July 25. He was said to have managed finances for ISWAP in the Jubillaram enclave. Military sources said she left the enclave with her son following her husband’s instruction. Both were screened and are now with the 24 Task Force Brigade pending further profiling by the 7 Division.
