How Can Nigeria’s Political Elite Be Encouraged to Invest in Jobs and Industry?
I believe Nigerian youths need to move beyond constant complaints and discuss practical ways to push political leaders to invest public wealth in productive ventures. Instead of hiding billions abroad, politicians with questionable wealth could build factories, support manufacturing, expand agriculture and create businesses that employ young people. Such investments could strengthen the economy and leave a better legacy for future generations. How can citizens, communities and institutions encourage political office holders to see industrialisation and job creation as more valuable than keeping wealth idle? What policies or public pressure could make productive investment the better option for them and for Nigeria?
