Shock in Plateau Community as Aborted Twins Found in Refuse Dump
Residents of Special Site community in Pankshin LGA, Plateau State, were left horrified when two aborted foetuses were discovered in a polythene bag at a local refuse dump on March 24, 2026. The twins, believed to be around five months old—a boy and a girl—were spotted after a dog began sniffing at the bag. According to a neighbour, Enman Danladi, a local farmer noticed the suspicious bag behind a residential area and alerted nearby residents. Eight people gathered at the scene to confirm the gruesome find. Danladi described the sight as painful and deeply disturbing. The community held a makeshift burial near the dump site. Women in particular wept openly, and neighbours condemned the unknown perpetrator. No suspect has been identified, and residents say the incident was not reported to the authorities but handled collectively by the community.
